What is Lucifer Bingo?
Lucifer Bingo is a fandom Bingo.
Participants sign up for a randomized Bingo card and then create new fanworks to complete a “Bingo” down, across, or diagonally on the card. If a participant completes a Bingo during a round, they can request a new card.
Fanworks can be centered on the TV show or the comics (each tagged appropriately).

What kind of account do I need in order to participate?
Fanworks must be posted on a public platform, so you’ll need an account on the platform you’re posting - Tumblr, Pillowfort, AO3, DeviantArt…
If posted on Tumblr, please @luciferbingo and #luciferbingo.
On AO3, consider adding them to the Lucifer Bingo collection! Here’s the how-to.
If long (especially a fic), please link or use a read-more.
In order to sign up, you do NOT need a Tumblr: simply leave a comment here on Dreamwidth under the sign-up post. You don't need an account :-)

When can we sign up? How long does Lucifer Bingo run?
Round Two will last until S6 is aired. You can sign up at any time during that year.

How do I sign up?
Simply leave a  comment here on Dreamwidth under the sign-up post. You don't need an account :-) If you do not give the information requested, you will not get your Bingo card.

How will I receive my card?
Your answer will be posted as a reply to your comment.
Get in touch with the blog again if you don’t have an answer after a week (and you don't see any "i'm on hols for X days" post ;-) .

Where do I post my fanworks?
Wherever you like, but they must be new and publicly available.
On Tumblr, AO3 etc tag them luciferbingo so they’re easy to find.
On AO3, consider adding them to the Lucifer Bingo collection! Here’s the how-to.
You can’t use previously posted fanworks!

Do I have to use warnings for my fanworks?
Yes. Please use AO3-type warnings.

What types of fanworks are allowed?
All of them! Fanart, fanfic, fanvid, fanmix, gifsets…
If you’re basing your artwork on someone else’s (a podfic, some fanart for a fic, etc) please ask for the original author’s permission or check if they have a blanket okay on their page.

Is there a minimum word count/size for fanworks?
Nope :-)

May I complete a bingo with just one fanwork?
One work = one Bingo prompt.
However, if your work is divided into parts (chapters, comic panels…) it can be one part = one Bingo prompt.

Do fanworks have to be complete?
Yes.

Can my fanwork be part of an ongoing series?
Yes, individually-posted works in an ongoing series are fine!

I don’t want a particular trope / theme etc on my card.
No problem! We can all understand having squicks, triggers and general NOPES.
To complete a Bingo, you only need to do five prompt-based artworks.
Besides, when asking for your card, you will choose which prompt lists you want (ex, “AU” and “Places” but not “Kinks”) and you can additionally ask for 10 prompts from your chosen lists to be struck off (ex: you can choose “AU” but ask for “Hogwarts AU” to be removed).
If you need more than 10 prompts removed, get in touch with us via ask (leave an email to be contacted privately if you are not on Tumblr).
No need to justify yourself :-)

How strict do I have to be when interpreting prompts?
Go wild! They’re an inspiration, and if “horns” inspires you to talk about CAR horns, well - go for it :-)

How does the WILD CARD square work?
To use the wild card square, choose any prompt from the prompt list. It’s fine if the prompt you choose is one that’s already located elsewhere on your card. However, you can’t count the same prompt twice for Bingo (using it for both “Wild Card” and another square in the same line).

How do I let you know I’ve earned a Bingo? How do I request a second card?
When you’ve earned a Bingo by creating fanworks for 5 prompts listed down, across, or diagonally on your card, send us a message and follow instructions there.

Can I use a co-created work for one of my squares?
Yes.

What about a work created for another community or challenge?
As long as it’s okay for that community / challenge / exchange rules, yes.
You have blanket permission for all Deckerstar Network activities, to start with.
Rules regarding completed works and required warnings still apply.
